Artist Biography
Michelle received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with a specialization in Drawing at Ball State University in 2013. As an Honors student, she received Ball State University's Honors College Presidential Scholarship.
Michelle's drawings and prints were displayed and sold in the Lox Salon gallery space of downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, during the months of October and November, 2014. Her work could also be seen in Ball State University's "Senior Thesis Exhibition," during the first week of December, 2012, and in the "Thesis Preview Exhibition," in the Murray Building, in downtown Muncie. That same year, through the months of January-March, Michelle's glass pieces (now sold) could be seen in the "Neo Natural Glass Art" Exhibition at the Garfield Conservatory in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2011, she and her good friend, Joe, received First Prize worldwide in the International LED Contest put forth by Instructables.com for their prop replica of Valve's Portal Gun. Their work was featured in the June 23rd Newsletter and the attention their prop received was overwhelming. For more information about her exhibitions, please view the listing below.
Most recently, Michelle illustrated a children's book in 2016, written by upcoming author Rebekah Morgan Bell and worked remotely with the Corporate Fine Art Group, stationed in Indiana's Carmel Arts & Design District. She occasionally works on commissions taken directly from clients who have contacted her.
